Fall of Onscard
The Fall of Onscard was the swift capture of Onscard by Lord Militant Dravere in 755.M41, during Operation Redrake. The operation was a simultaneous strike against four worlds. Slaydo had rejected a single-front assault in favour of a multi-pronged offensive, which took its name from the Serrian Redrake. The fighting on Formal Prime lasted eleven weeks. Onscard and Long Halent fell while the hive fighting there was still under way. The capture secured one of the crusade’s first footholds and allowed Dravere to commit resources to the more difficult fronts. Onscard remains recorded as a Redrake objective on the Newfound chart.
