Fall of Spaeton House

The Fall of Spaeton House was the assault on Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn’s Gudrun estate in 386.M41, one stroke in a coordinated campaign by Pontius Glaw against Eisenhorn’s household, Distaff and allied assets. Returning from the destruction of the Chaos Titan Cruor Vult on Miquol, Eisenhorn found Spaeton House under attack by hired forces, among them Vessorine Janissaries engaged through intermediaries acting for Glaw under the style of Khanjar the Sharp. Eisenhorn escaped the estate with his savant Uber Aemos and the Distaff blank Eleena Koi, later returning through fire to recover the pilot Medea Betancore. The house itself was lost. Parallel strikes wrecked the Distaff on Messina and other holdings, leaving Eisenhorn’s organisation broken and his status again that of an outcast under pressure from Osma and Heldane. The fall of Spaeton House marks the opening of Glaw’s personal vengeance on Gudrun soil. From the ruins Eisenhorn moved through Ravello and New Gevae, identified Glaw as the directing mind, and set the course that ended on Ghül. Gudrun remained Imperial ground; the estate did not.
