Fall of the Eternity Wall spaceport
The fall of the Eternity Wall spaceport was a major reverse suffered by the Loyalist defenders of Terra during the Battle for the First Wall in the Siege of Terra. After prolonged and costly fighting against Traitor assault forces, the spaceport’s defenders — including elements of the Legio Custodes, the Imperial Fists, and Imperial Army garrison troops, together with survivors of earlier engagements such as Garviel Loken — were unable to hold the complex, which was overrun by the attackers. The loss forced surviving Loyalist personnel and refugees to withdraw toward other fortified positions on Terra, and the episode is recounted as a significant setback in the broader narrative of the siege.
