Honour’s End
Honour’s End was fought in 837.M41 on the Imperial shrine world Lucid Prime during the Eclipse Wars. No segmentum, sector, system, or coordinates are recorded for the world. The Space Wolves, Angels Vindicant and Flesh Tearers under Chapter Master Gabriel Seth opposed Chaos Space Marine elements assaulting the hive of Ratspire. A ferocious Flesh Tearers counter-attack drove the enemy off, but Seth’s warriors, their bloodlust not yet sated, continued into the hive and killed its citizens. Seth assured the Space Wolves and Angels Vindicant that they were purging those possessed of Chaos taint. The Space Wolves, outraged, attacked the Flesh Tearers. Brother fought brother, hundreds died on either side, and the day was remembered afterwards as Honour’s End. The animosity that followed between the two Chapters was later eased only through the actions of Wolf Lord Ragnar Blackmane and Flesh Tearers Captain Vorain.
