Jopal Uprising
The Jopal Uprising was an Imperial campaign of M41 against insurgents seeking to take the world of Jopal out of the Imperium. It is recorded as one of the greatest achievements of Jubal Khan, Great Khan of the White Scars. He led the Chapter’s First Brotherhood in successive raids and strikes against the rebels’ supply and communication lines. The damage forced the insurgents to divert large numbers of troops against the White Scars, which allowed Imperial Guard regiments to batter through the weakened front and end the insurrection. Jopal lies in the Jopal System of Segmentum Solar, not far from the Armageddon System; neither a precise date for the uprising nor a fuller order of battle is recorded.
