Jubal Khan

Jubal Khan is a senior commander of the White Scars Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes, whose warriors are recruited from the steppe world of Chogoris. He is recorded as a Khan of the Chapter, a style that the White Scars use for their leading warriors, and his allegiance is to the Chapter and to its primarch, Jaghatai Khan, from whose gene-seed the Chapter descends. His place in the setting is that of a present-era leader of one of the Imperium’s mobile, fast-striking Space Marine forces.

The White Scars favour speed, pursuit and the decisive strike over static garrison, and a commander of Jubal Khan’s standing is defined chiefly by that doctrine. He is associated with the Chapter’s Chogoran heritage, in which warriors are raised among the riders of the steppe before induction. Detailed accounts of individual campaigns are sparse, and this dossier does not supply dates, engagements or exchanges that the record does not support; accounts differ in emphasis, and later tradition may add to what is stated here.
