Kophyr Campaign

The Kophyr Campaign was fought on the planet Kophyr after a blood cult of Khorne, led by a figure known as War Engine, had seized control of the world. Saint Celestine led the few Astra Militarum forces available against the cult, and the campaign against War Engine succeeded. It is placed after the opening of the Great Rift; no exact date is recorded. During the campaign an Inquisitor who had fallen under the sway of Khorne used his psychic powers to turn half of the Imperial Guardsmen against Celestine. The mutiny was defeated, but Celestine was killed by a melta shot fired at close range. One account holds that she afterwards awoke once more upon a mountain of bones in the warp, with no memory of who she was.
