Celestine is a Living Saint of the Adepta Sororitas, a warrior who dies and returns in the Emperor's light often enough that even her allies treat resurrection as part of the kit. She rose from a crypt on the Palatine Crusade in the Armour of Saint Katherine and has been a Wars of Faith made flesh ever since.
She fought on Cadia, struck Abaddon from behind when Creed bought her a second, and has been slain again by Khârn and others who learned that killing her is not the same as ending her. Greyfax has marched at her side and hated the theology of it.
Whether she is a person or a weapon the Throne keeps firing is a question the Ministorum does not ask. The Sisters follow anyway.
