Liberation of Long Halent
Lord Militant Dravere’s battlegroup took Long Halent in 755.M41 as part of Warmaster Slaydo’s Operation Redrake opening. Onscard fell beside it; Formal Prime soaked the hard fighting while Dravere’s wing secured the quicker pins. Later Codex notes put the 5th Royal Volpone and 163rd Ventrillian Armour into Blood Pact contact at Gorgar Ridge, with Volpone losses near half after the evacuation. Long Halent gave the crusade an early foothold and a butcher’s bill that still sits under Redrake’s first week.
