Long Halent

Long Halent is a Sabbat Worlds planet liberated in 755.M41 by the force of Lord Militant Dravere, one of four opening targets of Operation Redrake. Dravere’s force took it together with Onscard.

The remaining opening objectives proved more protracted. Lord Militant Slaydo’s force sustained heavy losses at Formal Prime, and Lord Militant Cybon’s campaign on Indrid continued into the following year. On Long Halent itself, Volpone and Ventrillian armour engaged Blood Pact forces on Gorgar Ridge. The 5th left that engagement at roughly forty-three per cent of its strength.

The operation required rapid early gains, and Long Halent supplied one of them at a high cost in Imperial Guard casualties. The location appears on the Newfound Trailing chart under the Pacificus/Tempestus dual path.
