Purge of Maze Undue
The Purge of Maze Undue was an Inquisition operation against the Cognitae’s academy for blanks in Queen Mab. Blanks, also termed pariahs, are individuals who lack the usual presence in the warp; the academy existed to train and keep them. The Inquisition acted once the academy’s activity could no longer be overlooked. Warrants were served, fire was used, and Ordo teams entered the classrooms, which had handled pariahs on behalf of the network of Lilean Chase. Survivors dispersed into the wards of Queen Mab and along the rumour-trails of the City of Dust. The purge ended the academy as a physical institution. It did not end the Cognitae’s practice of producing blanks, which continued elsewhere.
