Purge of the Imhathok Garrison

The Purge of the Imhathok Garrison was an action by the Salamanders 3rd Company on Imhathok, an Imperial world in the Ultima Segmentum for which no sector, system, or exact coordinates are recorded. No year is recorded. It took place in M41, while Tu’Shan was still Captain of the 3rd Company and before he became Chapter Master in 938.M41. The world’s Astra Militarum garrison had been brought by the T’au to embrace their doctrine of the Greater Good and had rebelled against the Imperium. The 3rd Company was ordered to destroy it. Colonel Bey Baeren, who had remained loyal, asked that the lives of his soldiers be spared. Tu’Shan refused and personally led the attack that killed the garrison, both as punishment for its betrayal and to prevent the doctrine from spreading further.
