Raid on Kamiti Sona
The Raid on Kamiti Sona was an assault on the Imperial psyker prison-station of that name during the Horus Heresy, in the 31st millennium; no narrower year is recorded. Kamiti Sona, a hulk believed to be of xenos origin and hostile to psychic power, was managed by the Sisters of Silence, and among those held there after the Burning of Prospero were the remembrancer Lemuel Gaumon and his companions. Two forces converged on the station, each seeking a shard of the shattered primarch Magnus the Red that was hidden within it. Knights-Errant under Dio Promus and Yasu Nagasena came on behalf of the Imperium, while Thousand Sons under Ahzek Ahriman came on behalf of their Legion. Ahriman’s fellowship had been assembled at Magnus’s command to recover the primarch’s scattered shards, and it included the sorcerers Hathor Maat, Sobek, Sanakht and Ignis. The raid formed one stage in Ahriman’s pursuit of the shards, which also took him past Terra and to Nikaea, where he confronted a shard of Magnus that had possessed Lemuel Gaumon. After the recovered shards merged, the Thousand Sons were carried back to the Planet of the Sorcerers.
