Kamiti Sona

Kamiti Sona was an Imperial prison-station for psykers during the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy. It was formed from a city-sized debris field left by a cataclysmic explosion of unknown date and origin, which the Imperium recovered and placed in orbit. The world about which it orbited is not recorded.

The hulk, believed to be of xenos origin, was found to be highly detrimental to psychic powers, and it was therefore used to hold psykers under the management of the Sisters of Silence. Confinement there had a damaging psychological effect on its inmates; suicides and murders were common, and many prisoners slowly lost their minds. The remembrancer Lemuel Gaumon and his companions were brought to the station after the Burning of Prospero.

During the Horus Heresy the station was raided both by Knights-Errant under Dio Promus and Yasu Nagasena and by Thousand Sons under Ahzek Ahriman, each side seeking a shard of Magnus the Red hidden there.
