Rise of Imotekh on Mandragora

The Rise of Imotekh on Mandragora was the Sautekh Dynasty succession war on the crownworld of Mandragora that ended with Imotekh the Stormlord taking the throne. During the Great Sleep the dynasty’s slumbering Phaeron succumbed to the ravages of the eons. With no agreed successor, members of the royal court fought for the crown and Mandragora fell into chaos; Imotekh’s stasis crypt was thought destroyed in the fighting, though he survived. One pretender awoke the renowned Nemesor Imotekh in search of victory. Instead of winning the throne for that claimant, Imotekh marshalled his own army, destroyed the pretenders, and claimed Mandragora for himself. He forbade further infighting within the realm. From 781.M41 he has ruled the Sautekh Dynasty as Phaeron and directed its reconquest from the Eastern Fringe crownworld. The episode marks the personal foundation of Imotekh’s reign and the return of Mandragora as an active hub of Sautekh power, sending legions against neighbouring tombs seized by Ork warbands and against Imperial and xenos foes beyond.
