Second Battle of Prospero

The Second Battle of Prospero was fought on Prospero’s surface and within the Prospero system around 007.M31, and is distinct from the earlier Burning of Prospero. Mortarion arrived aboard the Endurance with four Death Guard battleships while renegade White Scars lodges attempted to seize the vessel Swordstorm. He teleported to the surface and fought Jaghatai Khan after failing to turn him to Horus’s cause. Yesugei’s ships and elements of the Shattered Legions engaged the Death Guard, and Mortarion withdrew. Hasik Noyan-Khan was among the White Scars who had sided with Horus.
