Siege of Haddrake Tor
The Siege of Haddrake Tor was a three-year Imperial Fists campaign against Chaos heretics in M40. No segmentum, sector, or system is recorded for the site. Captain Darnath Lysander of the 2nd Company led a drop-pod assault to take the highest peaks and set teleport homers so that Terminators of the 1st Company could assault the lower levels. Heretics manipulated the warp so that several Terminators materialised in solid rock or over precipices. Captain Kleitus of the 1st Company, dying after materialising partly merged with stone, passed the Fist of Dorn to Lysander. Lysander used the thunder hammer to conquer the heretics and was promoted to First Captain, Overseer of the Armoury, and Watch Commander of the Phalanx.
