Tochran Crusade
The Tochran Crusade was an Imperial crusade fought in 943.M41 after Trazyn the Infinite claimed to have discovered the Song of Entropy, one of the missing Artefacts of Vulkan. The claim drew the Salamanders into a war of about a decade against Necron forces of Solemnace. Trazyn’s claim is recorded as a deception intended to lure the Salamanders Forgefather Vulkan He’stan into a trap during the assault of Tochran, where the Necrons sought to kill the Forgefather and seize the Spear of Vulkan. The Salamanders Sixth Company fought back to back against an encirclement; forty battle-brothers were lost. The Chapter emerged victorious, and He’stan defeated Trazyn once more, as he had in an earlier personal combat over the same spear.
