Triumph at Victorix
The Triumph at Victorix was fought in 994.M41 on the Imperial shrine world Victorix against remnants of Hive Fleet Kraken. No segmentum, sector, system, or coordinates are recorded for the world. Captain Cato Sicarius of the Ultramarines requested aid; Captain Tor Garadon of the Imperial Fists answered with his company. Both forces defended the planet and kept a sacred artefact safe. Garadon recognised the Tyranids as the same strain Warsmith Shon’tu had unleashed during the Infestation on Drashin. Garadon led his warriors to the eastern rim, where the remnants of Kraken were still flailing hungrily through the void. Victorix was the world on which Roboute Guilliman and Rogal Dorn had stood shoulder to shoulder against the Orks during the Great Crusade. Fighting as a single unit, the Ultramarines and Imperial Fists companies cut down wave after wave of Tyranids with massed boltgun and lascannon fire, and not one stasis field around the shrine’s treasured artefact, a chainsword said to have been wielded by Dorn in that battle, was breached.
