Tor Garadon

Tor Garadon is Captain of the Imperial Fists 3rd Company, a siege officer who has had to learn what a Chapter does when the wall is a starship. He held the Phalanx together when it should have come apart, and Vigilus later found out what that looks like on the ground.

Lysander's wars have his fingerprints. So do the Indomitus years, when the Fists needed a captain who could treat a world like a fortification and a fortification like a world. He does not make speeches Dorn would have liked. He makes positions hold.

The 3rd Company follows him because he is still the man who would rather stand on the wall than describe it.
