War of the Wolf

The War of the Wolf was fought on and above Lumerius in 612.M41, and involved Logan Grimnar, Arjac Rockfist, and his Great Company. Within an ice-locked wreck on the world lay, in stasis, a Wolf Brother, a warrior of a long-lost successor Chapter. Lumerius itself was held by the Black Legion, and reports placed the renegade Fabius Bile within the system. Grimnar boarded the Black Legion heavy cruiser Well of Souls by boarding torpedo and crippled the vessel; the Wolf Guard Ranulf Ironfang wounded the Black Legion lord Voidheart, who escaped the engagement. Grimnar then made planetfall on Lumerius and entered the wreck from beneath the ice. There he fought Fabius Bile within the stasis vault, though Bile teleported away before the duel could be decided. Grimnar found the Wolf Brother and saw upon him the signs of the Wulfen, and rather than disturb the casket, he ordered it sealed and returned to the Fang.
