Amistel System

The Amistel System is an Agripinaa hive well in Segmentum Obscurus whose principal world became a 13th Black Crusade trench rather than a quiet tithe world. It sits in the Agripinaa Sub-sector, close enough to the Cadian Gate that plague winds from the Eye arrive here first.

Amistel itself raised Cavalry regiments and gave Ursarkar Creed an early fight against Bluehacker Orks; later Death Guard virus-bombs made the air unlivable even for Astartes. Sister rock Amistel Majoris shares the same charted well. Drookian Fen Guard, Howling Griffons, and Legio Astorum only delayed the collapse.

The Amistel System still matters as an Agripinaa door Chaos spent bodies to kick in. Unofficial fan summaries keep the sub-sector parent and refuse to treat the pin as a peacetime hive.
