Anvillus System

The Anvillus System is a Great Crusade-era forge star system in Ultima Segmentum that could match Mars on output and still builds Mars-Alpha Warlords. Anvillus itself is the prize; Blood Angels stood honour guard here until the Heresy split the Mechanicum and the forge tore itself apart in civil war.

Order returned. Nobody talks about what happened to the Blood Angels demi-company. Each year a warp-barge still arrives at Baal bearing exactly half a company's worth of arms, which is the forge's idea of an apology. Later millennia kept the yards running; the scar is ceremonial and also not.

The Anvillus System still matters as proof that Mars was never the only forge that counted. Unofficial fan maps keep the Ultima parent and do not confuse Anvillus with Anvilus9 pattern names on a datasheet.
