Aurelian System

The Aurelian System is the Blood Ravens’ capital star system in Subsector Aurelia, named for the world Aurelia, later displaced into the warp. It is a location of the Dawn of War setting and is distinct from any individual named Aurelia.

Aurelia served as the seat of the subsector until a warp storm displaced the planet into the immaterium, where it became frozen. Administrative functions then passed to Meridian, while the system retained the name of the lost world. Tyranids, Orks and the forces of Chaos have each used the system as an entry point into the subsector.

The Aurelian System remains the location to which the Blood Ravens repeatedly return. Unofficial fan maps record Subsector Aurelia as its parent location and keep the system separate from any person named Aurelia.
