Aurus Subsector

The Aurus Sub-sector is an administrative division of Segmentum Ultima that contains the Ryza System, a Mechanicus plasma forge. Some Mechanicus claims rank that forge second only to Mars.

The sub-sector also includes the worlds of Flyberia, Proctus Prime and Ulani IV, which lie in the same region as Ryza. Ryza’s plasma technology, its support of Titans, and the later sieges of the forge all bear on these neighbouring worlds. The sub-sector provides the administrative setting in which Ryza is located, so that the forge is not treated as an isolated name.

The Aurus Sub-sector is significant chiefly as the administrative framework of Ryza. It is not a synonym for the forge itself. Unofficial maps retain Segmentum Ultima as its parent and record the Ryza System (ryza-system) as a child of the sub-sector.
