Badlanding

Badlanding, also recorded as Bad Landing, is an agricultural colony in the Freiya System of the Loki Sector. It was lightly held and neighboured Rynn’s World, the Crimson Fists’ home world. Its fall to the Waaagh (an ork invasion force) led by Snagrod the Arch-Arsonist served as a warning to Rynn’s World.

Mordian, Lammas and Boros Guard forces were destroyed at Krugerport within days. Pedro Kantor sent the company of Captain Drakken to delay the Waaagh, and fifty-six of its eighty-four battle-brothers did not return. Snagrod then announced by vox that Rynn’s World would be attacked next, and the Crimson Fists recalled all their forces to defend it. A later cleansing of Badlanding by Battlegroup Vengeance did not alter the outcome of these events.

Badlanding remains significant as the prelude to the invasion of Rynn’s World. Unofficial summaries place it within the Freiya System and treat it as a separate location from Rynn’s World itself.
