Brinaga System

The Brinaga System, in the Quinrox Sound of the Gothic Sector, is where Blackstone Fortress VI was captured during the 12th Black Crusade. The entry identifies the system as a location. It does not concern the atmosphere-destroying demonstration, which is a separate matter.

The capture took place four months after the action at Lukitar. Abaddon’s crews shut the fortress down while its Imperial garrison was still aboard, and the fortress passed into their hands. Lexicanum has no standalone article on Brinaga, and the fighting is described on its pages for the Crusade and for the fortress.

The system retains significance because a second Blackstone left it aimed at Fularis II. Unofficial maps continue to place the system under the Gothic Sector as its parent region.
