Calixis Sector

The Calixis Sector is a Segmentum Obscurus frontier of more than two hundred Imperial worlds, formerly the Calyx Expanse, with hive-capital Scintilla and a border on the Koronus Expanse. It sits near the Halo Stars and the Eye, and Dark Heresy-era Inquisitors treated this cube as their beat.

Angevin's crusade made a sector out of wilderness. Golgenna, the Drusus Marches, Malfi, Hazeroth, and the Periphery still argue over which hive actually runs the place; Iocanthos and Sepheris Secundus pay for the rest. Cults, xenos, and the Spinward Front have all used Calixis as a laboratory. This is a 41st-millennium administrative wound, not a Great Crusade household name.

The Calixis Sector still matters as the Imperium's best-documented dirty frontier. Unofficial fan maps keep the Segmentum Obscurus parent and do not merge Calixis into Scarus or the Koronus Expanse.
