Canau

Canau is an Imperial world recorded chiefly for its conquest by an Ork invasion force and its subsequent recovery. The world’s coordinates are not recorded, and little is known of its government, population, or economy prior to the invasion.

Orks overran Canau, bringing Imperial administration there to a halt for a period whose length is not recorded. The year of the invasion, falling somewhere within the fortieth or forty-first millennium, has not been established.

The world was eventually liberated by the Blood Angels under their Chapter Master, Dante, who led the campaign that drove the Orks from Canau and restored it to Imperial rule. Beyond this liberation, the historical record of Canau remains thin.
