Chinchare System

The Chinchare System is a mobile Calixis gravity well drawn by a rogue star that formerly lay near the Eye of Terror. The system now carries a group of remnant worlds through the Halo Stars, the region on the galactic periphery beyond the Imperium’s settled core.

The star itself, Chinchare, is recorded as a separate location with its own entry, and this entry concerns the system only. Orthrea, Plessern, the Pymbyle stars, Sabbatorus, Utolan, Utolian, Van Seles’ World and XV/428 share the moving gravity well. The mining asteroid associated with Inquisitor Eisenhorn is a different body, the planet Cinchare, and does not belong to this system record.

The Chinchare System is notable as a Calixis body that does not hold a fixed position. It is catalogued within the Chinchare Sub-sector, and its entry is kept distinct from that of the star that governs its movement.
