Chogoris System

The Chogoris System is the White Scars' home star system, the steppe gravity well of Mundus Planus where Jaghatai Khan rode the Empty Quarter. Quan Zhou, the fortress-monastery of the V Legion, still looks out over nomad tribes that hunt under the same sun the Khan knew.

Chogoris is the principal world; sister rocks such as Khalotus Aleph, Rastorphin, Shovith, and Thanadus share the charted well. White Scars still recruit from the plains, and the Legion's old speed-cult never really left this system for a more convenient fortress. Jambonium parents the pin to Segmentum Solar; many lore maps instead put Mundus Planus out toward Ultima. This overlay keeps the existing parent.

The Chogoris System remains the White Scars' cultural centre, which is why the Chapter still answers from a horse-world rather than a hive. Unofficial fan notes treat Mundus Planus and Chogoris as the same home, not two different Chapters' seats.
