Clanar II

Clanar II is a world in Warhammer 40,000 where the daemon Cherubael was worshipped before Inquisitor Quixos bound it into a host. A daemon confined in this way is termed a daemonhost.

The local cult treated Cherubael, styled a prince, as a deity until Quixos, a radical Inquisitor, arrived with cages and bargains, and with a second daemonhost named Prophaniti. What departed Clanar II was no longer the religion of a planet but an instrument in Quixos’s service.

Clanar II is significant chiefly as the place where the binding began, and this dossier treats it as the origin point of that process. Unofficial notes record an Obscurus parent for the world, held with low confidence, and no Scarus system is asserted for this entry.
