Corinth System

The Corinth System is an Ultima hive-and-forge star system on the Eastern Fringe whose principal world is Corinthe. Maps use the spelling Corinthe for the world, while the system name omits the final letter. Corinthe is the industrial centre of the system, and few other features of its charted extent are recorded.

In 747.M41 the Tyranid Hive Fleet Moloch and the genestealer hulk Bringer of Sorrow, a Tyranid vessel, attacked the system. Dark Angels Deathwing forces destroyed the hulk by overloading its plasma, and the hive on Corinthe remained standing. The forge world therefore survived the Tyranid assault through the intervention of the First Legion.

The system is not connected with the ancient city of Corinth on Terra. It remains noted as a location of the Moloch campaign. Unofficial fan summaries keep Ultima as the parent region and treat Corinthe as the child world, not as a duplicate hive recorded under a separate identifier.
