Cypra Mundi System

The Cypra Mundi System is the forge-world and fleet-capital star system of Segmentum Obscurus, the desk that sends Battlefleet Obscurus into the Eye's approaches. Cypra Mundi itself is the segmentum fortress; the well around it is yards, magazines, and the paperwork of a northern war that never ends.

Ultramarines once pulled this system out of an Ork war, and every Black Crusade since has treated Cypra Mundi's docks as a target worth a diversion. Cadia's fall did not retire the fortress — it made the remaining Obscurus capital even more load-bearing. The Great Rift left the north split; this system is still the name on the fleet orders.

The Cypra Mundi System remains the Obscurus pin because a segmentum without a fortress is just a rumour of ships. Unofficial fan summaries keep the Segmentum Obscurus parent and do not move the capital to Cadia or Belis Corona.
