Demiral

Demiral is an agri-world in the Golgotha Subsector of the Armageddon Sector, separate from the Ork world of Golgotha on the Maelstrom rim. An agri-world is a planet devoted chiefly to agricultural production. Demiral is also unrelated to the prison of Yarrick in the Ishawar range.

Roughly half of the Golgotha Subsector is held by Orks, and the warlord Ghazghkull used the surrounding region as a staging area. Five Imperial systems in the subsector continue to collect tithes, the levies of produce and materiel owed to the Imperium, from agricultural holdings, mines, and the forge Demios. An arterial warp route connects the subsector to Armageddon, and for that reason each Waaagh, or Ork invasion, has treated its farms as a source of supply. Demiral is one named agricultural location among these holdings.

Demiral remains significant as a farm world of the Golgotha Subsector, and not as a second Golgotha. Unofficial summaries retain the golgotha-subsector parent, do not attribute Operation Thunderstorm to the location, and do not reassign it to the Ork world on the Maelstrom rim.
