Dreah System

The Dreah System is a Markayn agricultural system in the Calixis Sector, distinguished by the uniformly grey appearance of its people, crops, sky and water.

The system’s monochrome character shapes its commerce. Dye merchants profit from the local demand for colour, but smugglers of hallucinogenic substances profit more, since the Dreahans will pay for colour by any available means. Warp routes connect the system to Prol IX and Iocanthos.

The Dreah System appears on Calixis Sector charts as a grey agricultural holding rather than a military stronghold or crusade fortress. It is used chiefly as a setting in the *Dark Heresy* roleplaying game, and unofficial summaries continue to list it under its parent sector.
