Epsion Octarius System

The Epsion Octarius System is the Sector Solar system in south-east Segmentum Solar that contains the swamp-and-jungle world of Epsion Octarius. It is the charted address of that world and should not be confused with the Ork Empire of Octarius in Ultima. This site retains both the Solar parent and the Epsion spelling.

The world of Epsion Octarius trades ore and luxury goods with Jurn and cultivates Crotalids in its wetlands. It has also served as a launch point for Ork migrations, which led cartographers to confuse it with the capital of the Overfiend. *Codex: Chaos* placed the name in Tempestus as an Ork world, and the Grey Knights sourcebook restored it to Solar. This site does not reassign the system to Octarius Sector.

The Epsion Octarius System remains the Solar system from which the name derives. Summaries on this site keep it under sector-solar and do not attribute Kryptman’s Leviathan gambit to it. The Epsilon spelling entry remains in octarius-sector as a separate, sibling record.
