Fenksworld System

The Fenksworld System is a hive world of the Josian Reach in the Calixis Sector and the site of a Battlefleet Calixis depot. It is small enough that cults use it as a test bed before attempting larger targets such as Scintilla or Malfi.

Two hive cities are recorded there. Hive Nova Castillia concealed xenotechnology belonging to a Beast House, and Hive Volg extends over acid fens. On one occasion an admiral rammed the battleship Tempest Child into the system’s docks, an incident characteristic of the misfortunes attributed to the world.

The Fenksworld System belongs to the Dark Heresy setting as a depot rather than a segmentum fortress. It remains on Calixis charts as the depot of the Josian Reach, and unofficial summaries retain the Calixis Sector as its parent.
