Formosa Sector

The Formosa Sector is a region of the Segmentum Obscurus on this map, associated with the Nemesis Sub-sector and the Protectorate of Inquisitor Coteaz. The entry is a composite. It combines a fortress neighbouring the Eye with the Formosa of the Eastern Fringe, as it appears in later accounts of Coteaz.

The chart places Nemesis Tessera, Epsilon Regalis, Glovoda, Lorgamar and Vorath within the sector. Coteaz took the title of Protector after executing his mentor, Laredian. Other sources record that the Grey Knights maintain a watch over quarantined Formosan seer-worlds.

The sector is significant on this chart as the neighbourhood of Coteaz and Nemesis Tessera. It does not represent a relocated duplicate of the Eastern Fringe Formosa. Unofficial maps retain the Segmentum Obscurus as its parent and leave Nemesis Tessera under the Nemesis Sub-sector.
