German-language campaign charts of the Fornax-Bogen treat Fornax as an Ork-raided industry well later tangled with T'au and Eldar pressure out of Neu Triest, still burning in early M42. English lex pages do not give this exact spelling its own article, which is why the pin is easy to steal for either namesake.

Fornax still matters as the Tempestus industrial row that is not Aleph and not Orbis Majoris. Unofficial summaries keep the segmentum-tempestus parent and refuse to overwrite this existing row with Sabbat daemon-hive lore or with Gdolkin's Ghost Stars forge.
