Iron-Captain Gdolkin
Iron Father, Iron-Captain
Also known as Anatolus Gdolkin, Gdolkin
Homeworld: Medusa
Anatolus Gdolkin walked Medusa at sixteen with a family bolt pistol and arrived at the Chapter missing a hand, which the Iron Hands treated as a promising start. Two centuries of studs later he was an Iron Father who respected servitors more than failed aspirants and wanted Cadia more than another Mechanicus errand.
Oaths sent him to Fornax Orbis Majoris and Herod anyway. Destroyed artefacts woke Warp storm Araken. Inside it, Crucible's Tomb of the Ironclad was not Ferrus Manus in stasis. It was a Titan legion pickled in the Warp. Gdolkin killed the Chaos champion and blew the engines rather than let Abaddon have them.
He still calls the flesh a design flaw. The Gauntlet of Menestus is the correction.
