Gethsemane Subsector

The Gethsemane Sub-sector is a division of the Gothic Sector, named for the system where Lord Admiral Ravensburg forced a Chaos fleet to battle in 151.M41.

The engagement at Gethsemane brought a major Chaos fleet to battle. Zpandex, Zambeque, Cherys and a series of numbered wells share the scar of that action. When the traitor vessels attempted to flee, An-Iolsus Corsairs finished them. The victory did not bring the Gothic War to an end.

The sub-sector remains significant as part of the geography of Battlefleet Gothic. Unofficial maps retain the Gothic Sector as its parent and treat the Gethsemane Sub-sector as a child of the gethsemane-system entry.
