Gildar Quintus

Gildar Quintus is an agri-world in the Gildar Rift, a region patrolled by the Silver Skulls and characterised by wrecks and toxic fog. An agri-world is a planet devoted chiefly to agricultural production. The Rift itself forms a chokepoint, and the Silver Skulls maintain a patrol presence there.

During the Rift war, Red Corsairs poisoned the hydroponic feeds of Gildar Quintus, the systems used to grow crops in nutrient solution rather than soil. The contamination caused the system’s harvest to rot.

The principal ground engagement of the conflict took place on Gildar Secundus, not on Gildar Quintus. Gildar Quintus is the fifth world of the system, and its standing rests on the loss of its harvest rather than on any battle fought upon its surface.
