Lufgt Huron was Chapter Master of the Astral Claws until the Badab War made him a traitor and the Maelstrom made him something worse. He took a Tyrant's Claw for a ruined arm, a new name, and the Red Corsairs as a fleet that still behaves like a Chapter when it is convenient.
He lost Badab to the Loyalists, kept the habit of taxing shipping, and has spent the millennia since turning the Maelstrom into a pirate empire the Imperium cannot quite siege. New Badab is not a homeworld. It is a statement.
The Blackheart still wants a Chapter's due. The difference is he now takes it from anyone who sails too close.
