Hades Hive

Hades Hive was a principal hive city of the hive world of Armageddon, in the Armageddon System, Segmentum Solar. No coordinates for the hive itself are recorded.

During the Second War for Armageddon, dated 941–943.M41 with Ork planetfall in 941.M41, Commissar Sebastian Yarrick commanded the hive’s defence after Overlord Herman von Strab banished him there, and the defenders withdrew in shuttle runs when the hive could no longer be held. During the Third War for Armageddon, from 998.M41, Yarrick had the hive evacuated beforehand, and it was destroyed from orbit.

In the Fourth War for Armageddon, M42, a later account states that the ruined hive was struck again by an asteroid that broke into roks, and that Ghazghkull then took the ruins as a command post. Yarrick was not present for that blow in the Fourth War; he was at Hive Death Mire.
