After the opening of the Great Rift and Tor Garadon’s crossing of the Rubicon Primaris, Lord Commander Roboute Guilliman ordered an attack on Fortress Perditum, a stronghold of Warsmith Khanzing that had stood for at least a thousand years. The Imperial Fists 3rd Company under Garadon and the Harakoni 117th Regiment under Colonel Thraxos made the assault; the regiment suffered heavy losses, and it fell to the Fists to storm a partially destroyed section of rampart. The final outcome of the battle is not recorded.
