Hydraphur System

The Hydraphur System is the fleet-capital star system of Segmentum Pacificus: shipyards in orbit, a star fort overhead, and a surface split between Navy, Ecclesiarchy, and Mechanicus. Battlefleet Pacificus answers from here, and Bastion Psykana shares the same charted well.

Hydraphur has surrendered, been retaken, and been rebuilt more than once; Pacificus is the segmentum that keeps getting crusaded through, from the Macharian adventure to later secessionist wars. The fortress world is not a quiet desk. It is the western dock that has to exist even when the maps go blank.

The Hydraphur System still matters as one of the five Segmentum naval seats. Unofficial fan maps keep the Segmentum Pacificus parent and do not confuse Hydraphur with Hydra Cordatus or Hydra Minoris.
