Hypnoth

Hypnoth is a former Imperial forge world in the Ironhame Sub-sector of the Vidar Sector, Ultima Segmentum. In 585.M40 it suffered an Eldar attack after the Imperial Fists delivered the captured Iyanden warship Blood of Khaine to its yards.

In 911.M41 it fell in the Siege of Hypnoth to the Necron Sautekh Dynasty under Imotekh the Stormlord. The Necrons released a technophagic virus that destroyed the Adeptus Mechanicus defences and led to the world’s fall; Lector Dogmatis Videx later recorded the horror of that annihilation. Hypnoth has since been held as a Sautekh world.
