Jagga System
The Jagga System is an Ork freebooter system of the Star Krumpas, formerly known for its moonbison herds and later consumed by a Tyranid hive fleet. Freebooters are Orks who live by piracy, and the system served as one of their bases. No Imperial colonisation of the system is recorded.
The system’s clans took part in Ghazghkull’s Second Armageddon Waaagh, the massed Ork military movement that gave that campaign its name. The moonbison herds, described as dangerous, were the system’s other distinguishing feature. A Tyranid hive fleet later reached the system on its approach through Ultima. The Ork pirates gave the swarm the most determined resistance it had met up to that point, but the hive fleet overcame them and consumed the system’s Ork world as biomass.
The Jagga System now stands as a former Ork port that no longer serves that function. Its principal significance lies in the record of a greenskin stronghold destroyed by the Tyranids after contributing forces to the Armageddon campaign. Unofficial star charts continue to list Ultima as its parent region.
