Kaurava II

Kaurava II is a tropical world on which the system’s Planetary Defence Force never cleared feral Orks. It is principally a theatre of conflict between Orks and the Astartes (Space Marines), with a T’au installation in orbit.

Gorgutz returned to the planet’s jungles after Kronus. The Blood Ravens, a Space Marine chapter, deployed to the planet itself rather than to its capital, in order to destroy both the Orks and Chaos forces. Separately, the T’au secretly converted the moon Orridune into Nan Yanoi, a gun-moon fitted with an interplanetary Ar’Ka cannon.

The world is accordingly characterised by two features: a persistent Ork presence in its jungles, opposed by the Blood Ravens, and a T’au gun-moon overhead.
